Alserkal Cultural Foundation (ACF), the jewel located in the Al Fahidi Historical Neighbourhood (AFHN), was founded by Mr. Ahmad bin Eisa bin Nasser Alserkal. It started its work in 2015 as the first platform to support emerging artists & designers, with the aim of highlighting the AFHN with its rich Archeological Heritage and intangible history. ACF holds a vibrant environment featuring 5 Exhibition Rooms, Creativity Corner, Rooftop, Make Art Café, Fashion Corner, Book Quarter, Home Corner, and Workshop Room.
We are proud to state that 110 artists & designers were assisted in the course of our journey to become well known for their work. Art and handicrafts at the Creativity Corner, which, besides being hot buys, have also made a mark for their unique elements & features.
Art Exhibitions and Workshops which are held in-house and also at prestigious spots like Dubai Mall have given participants a better Art and Culture understanding. Our Book Quarter situated on the Rooftop is a treasure trove of hard to find books with titles on Art, Architecture, Travel, Design, Culture of the Region and Emirati History. Our wearable form of art at the Fashion Corner is a catwalk for contemporary designs with a traditional touch. And our Home Corner is a spot dedicated to showcase unique and high quality handmade products for your home decor and lifestyle.
The foundation is a great venue for events and gives the right ambiance for brand promotions, meetings, photo shoots, team building exercises, private events, book launching and book signing. Finally, enjoy our gourmet experience at our Café, where you can indulge in fresh sandwiches & salads, desserts, & the best coffee the district can offer.
ACF enjoys a full house daily morning till evening, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. Our foundation has been visited by over 100,000 visitors in the past 2 years.
